It was all thanks to Francisco that I was able to make an unforgettable trip thanks to his knowledge of the Inca history and culture. Porters and chef enjoyed providing meals and helping through the trek. We then added more travelling to Puerto Maldonado in the deep jungle of the Amazon.

It was a great trip, a wonderful mix of cities, landscapes, weather, food, and people. All in all, great introduction to Mexico, especially since it was my first visit to the country. The roam format was perfect because it allowed me to choose activities and my daily schedule, while still allowing me not to have to worry about travel and hotel bookings during the trip.

If you want a less tourists oriented, more soft adventure journey to the famous Inca site Machu Picchu then Lares Trek is for you. Everything was arranged by Bamba, and we simply had the best of time.
